The Resort

Sanctuary Cap Cana is an adults-only, five star all inclusive-resort situated along a stretch of pure white sand beach, located just 15 minutes from the Punta Cana International Airport. The resort is located in Cap Cana, a private retreat within Punta Cana. Cap Cana is made up of 30,000 acres of flawless beaches, and oceanfront valley roads. This destination is also home to Punta Espada Golf Club, which is considered one of the best golf courses in the Caribbean. Cap Cana also holds one of the most spectacular marinas in the world, famous and accredited by international journals for its fishing. The Restaurants

All of Sanctuary’s five à la carte restaurants offer both indoor and alfresco seating as well as 24-hour room service. Start the day at the breakfast buffet at Casabella and grab a casual lunch or dinner at the oceanfront Blue Marlin, which specializes in fresh seafood. Dinner options include Pan-Asian cuisine at Wok, prime cuts cooked on an Argentinean grill at The Steakhouse and Italian and international favorites at Capriccio.



Perched on stilts overlooking the ocean, this is the most spectacular restaurant setting in the Dominican Republic. Serving fresh seafood daily, it is a must-dine when in Cap Cana.



Gather here in the mornings and enjoy action stations offering a fabulous breakfast. The restaurant also serves international cuisine with a tropical twist for lunch.



Surrounded by a beautiful moat, this Pan-Asian fusion restaurant also includes a Tepanyaki table with your own private chef.



Designed as a traditional Argentinean Grill, replete with a cast iron and brick oven that uses wood and charcoal, this restaurant delivers only the finest cuts of meat.



From pasta to Panna Cotta, Capriccio delivers a delicious menu of specialty Italian items and classics.


Located right across from the Sanctuary Cap Cana Hotel, Sanctuary Town features 9 premises, including great places to eat, two themed bars and a food truck with new approaches to the local culinary variety. Sanctuary Town combines authentic ambience and unique décor on each venue.

Alex & Lluvia have secured a block of rooms under contract to guarantee both pricing and availability for you. We encourage you to book your accommodations as soon possible to avoid issues with availability and/or rate increases.

The rates displayed below are held exclusively for you, as guests of Alex & Lluvia’s wedding. Both rates and room availability are guaranteed, and will not be subject to to fluctuations as published rates typically are.

Due to various airports of departure, the pricing reflects resort pricing excluding flight arrangements. In most cases, there will be a noticeable savings by bundling your airfare into a package with your accommodations, and we are happy to provide quotes for doing so. At times, due to published rate fluctuations, you may notice another vendor with a lower price. In this case, we are happy to submit a price match for verification to be applied to your booking. Please see price matching details & FAQs.

Due to an overlap with the holiday travel week, rates will vary based on your arrival dates. Please check the grid under your preferred date to see the corresponding rate based on length of stay and room occupancy. All rates are per person, inclusive of resort stay, meals, beverages (alcoholic & non), taxes, fees and roundtrip transportation from/to the airport.

Any bookings outside of Alex and Lluvia’s group block will not be connected to the group, causing a loss of group amenities and potentially additional charges incurred to attend Alex & Lluvia’s wedding events.

Booking & Payment Information

Please complete this form to secure your room. Once submitted, your booking will be confirmed within 24 business hours and your deposit billed. If you would like an upgraded room, please check the box for upgrade and enter the room type you prefer.

It is not required, but we are happy to assist in booking your flights. Deposit requirements vary by airline so if flights are requested, we will provide your confirmation within 24 business hours with the deposit amount due on your booking. At this time, Southwest and JetBlue have not released their schedules – if you prefer to fly either airline, we can add airfare to your package at a later date.

Price Matching Process & FAQs

To get a price match applied, there is only one extra step to compare and request a qualifying match. After completing your RSVP and receiving a quote from us, please email a screen shot or dated PDF print of the package you are requesting to be matched. In order for a price match to be approved, here are the requirements:

  • The entire package must match apples to apples: same resort, room category, airline, flight numbers, dates, classes of service.
  • The screenshot must clearly show the package price along with a complete itinerary including all items above matching identically.
  • The screenshot must include a logo and/or clearly shown web address that indicates who the travel supplier is.
  • The screenshot must include the date and time – the information from your desktop status bar is fine, as pictured below.



  • The travel supplier must be a US based company.
    • A travel agent is not a travel supplier; however, if we are provided the same of the travel supplier quoted and can recreate the package at the same price, this will be a qualified match.
  • We must be able to replicate the package at the price you are requesting.

Reasons your price match may be declined:

  • The package includes airfare in a different class of service. Online travel suppliers (I’m looking at you, Expedia) often include “basic economy” class airfare, particularly on American Airlines, Delta and United. Basic economy is a heavily restricted class of service, and thus prices lower than a normal coach/economy ticket. This cannot be matched.
  • The travel supplier is not US based. When you add exchange rates to the mix, things get complicated.
  • You are working with a travel agent who will not disclose their supplier. Some agencies will forfeit parts of their commission to secure a booking – this practice is called rebating and is a heavily restricted practice by nearly all travel suppliers. If we cannot replicate the package at the price quoted, we cannot ensure we remain in our suppliers’ good graces.
  • The flight is sold out. This is part of the reason pricing can be so unpredictable – once space available changes, so does the price. If it cannot be replicated, due to either a sell out or sudden demand, the match will not be approved by our travel suppliers.

These 4 common reasons for a declined price match are usually about 10% of requests; in most cases we are able to obtain approval.
